CarlMy name is Carl Fiorentino and am 23 years of age. I’ve trained off and on most my life (haven’t we all?) but have taken bodybuilding very seriously for the last 18 months. I don’t consider myself a fitness expert, just a fanatic who loves to learn and pass knowledge on.

Why This Blog Exists
The purpose of this blog is to be a resource of information for the typical guy or girl looking to improve their body.
As a fitness fanatic myself, I spend hours researching, reading, interacting on forums, and talking to trainers to better understand how to gain muscle, burn fat, and get that lean, shredded look in the most healthy way possible.
After all that, I write about it on here, MuscleCircuit.com.

My Thoughts on Various Topics
Fitness Industry
I am not a fan of the fitness industry, at all. Every where I look I see a new supplement or ab gimic promising big results. Ab rollers and supplements don’t deliver results, proper diet and training does.
It seems as though most companies only want to try and pull every penny out of people for trying to get healthy. Most fitness companies want to maximize profits, not value.
Getting the Right Information
Gaining the right knowledge to achieve your bodybuilding goals is more difficult than it should be. The information about fitness presented in mass media and commercials is very distorted and/or it’s flat out wrong.
On the other hand, the information in books and other credible source is very scattered, contradicting, and usually difficult to understand.
So how did I learn? I struggled. I read on forums, articles on the web, books, and talked to trainers on a daily basis. Half the time, I wasn’t too sure who to believe. Nonetheless, I found it pretty stressful.
